Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 August 2026

1. Who we are

Offset Digital is an Australian web design studio. We design, build and launch custom websites for small businesses across Australia.

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your information, contact us at Info@offsetdigital.com.au (ABN 64 699 397 987).

2. Information we collect

We collect two types of information:

  • Details you submit — through our website enquiry form or a Facebook/Instagram lead form: your name, email address, phone number, business type and project details.
  • Technical data collected automatically — via cookies and similar technologies: your IP address, device and browser information, and the pages you visit on our site.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote
  • Design and deliver your website and any other services you ask for
  • Communicate with you about your project
  • Send occasional marketing — but only if you've opted in to receive it

We never sell your personal information to anyone.

4. Advertising and analytics (Meta Pixel)

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and similar analytics tools on our website. These tools help us understand how visitors use our site, measure how well our advertising is working, and show you more relevant ads on Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.

The Meta Pixel uses cookies and may collect device identifiers and information about your browsing activity on this site. This data is processed by Meta Platforms, Inc. in line with their own privacy policy:

Meta's Privacy Policy

You can manage your ad preferences in your Facebook account settings, or limit cookies through your browser settings.

5. Facebook/Instagram lead forms

If you submit one of our lead forms on Facebook or Instagram, Meta shares the details you entered with us directly. We only use this information for the purposes described in section 3 above — to respond to your enquiry and provide our services.

6. Who we share data with

We only share your information with trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only to the extent needed for them to do their job. This includes:

  • Website hosting providers
  • Form and email delivery services
  • Analytics and advertising platforms, including Meta

We do not sell or rent your personal information to any third party.

7. Data retention and security

We keep the information you provide only for as long as it's needed for the purposes set out in this policy — generally for the life of your enquiry or project, plus a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information from misuse, loss or unauthorised access.

8. Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you, and to request that we correct or delete it. To make a request, email us and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

If you have a concern about how we've handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC):

9. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device that help websites remember your preferences and understand how you use them. We use cookies for essential site functions, analytics, and advertising (including the Meta Pixel described above). You can disable cookies in your browser at any time, though some parts of our site may not work as well as a result.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. We encourage you to review it occasionally.
